Our platform automates the entire performance and evaluation process, saves valuable time, and helps managers have impactful employee conversations. We work on this together with a motivated team of around 45 colleagues.

Our Dutch go-to-market engine is proven and now ready to scale internationally. We recently secured a new funding round specifically to accelerate our German expansion. That's why we're looking for you as a Senior Account Executive Germany (m/f/d), to help us build out the German market together.

Your role as Senior Account Executive in Germany

As Senior Account Executive, you're responsible for winning new customers in the German market. You identify business opportunities, guide companies through the entire sales process, and successfully bring them to contract close.

You'll work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and our CEO in the Netherlands, as well as our German Partnership Manager and German BDR. With HubSpot as your foundation and your experience in B2B SaaS sales, you focus on complex sales processes and building long-term customer relationships in Germany.

Since we're a growing scale-up, we're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, works independently, and actively helps shape processes. Not everything is set in stone yet. That's exactly where the opportunity lies for you to bring in your ideas and make a real impact.

During onboarding, you'll spend the first two months at our headquarters in Utrecht. After that, you'll be on-site on average every month and travel regularly to customers in Germany.

What your week looks like as a Senior Account Executive

  • You independently run product demos and translate the challenges and goals of potential customers into fitting solutions within the Learned platform.

  • You manage the entire sales process, from needs analysis through proposal and contract negotiations to successful close.

  • You ensure a structured handover of new customers to our Customer Success team, including an implementation plan.

  • You actively help shape our go-to-market strategy for Germany.

  • Looking ahead, you'll take on responsibility for building your own team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and (senior) Account Executives in Germany.

Vereisten

What you bring

  • German as your native language, plus fluent English.

  • Several years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including at least three years as an Account Executive or in a comparable role.

  • Experience in consultative selling and in complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders (e.g. management, works council, IT and legal departments).

  • Comfortable building your own pipeline (former BDR and full-cycle AE strongly preferred).

  • An independent, entrepreneurial way of working, and enjoyment in taking on responsibility within a scale-up.

  • The ability to work with customers at a strategic level and build long-term relationships.

  • Willingness to travel within Germany, plus regular visits to our office in the Netherlands.
